Golisano Childrens Hospital of Southwest Florida (Lee Health) is seeking a Pediatric Regional Medical Director of Primary Care

Located near Southwest Florida's beaches is Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida - a state-of-the-art pediatric facility that delivers vital and lifesaving care for children and their families throughout the region. This 135-bed regional hospital cares for children across five counties and is the only children's hospital between Tampa and Miami. Golisano provides various specialized services to take care of all of our community's children, from emergency care to behavioral health, surgery to critical care, orthopedics, cancer treatment, cardiology, and more. The hospital has a 16 bed PICU and a 70 bed NICU with 24 hours in-house Neonatology coverage.

Position Description:

Lee Physician Group & Golisano Childrens Hospital is seeking a board-certified Physician to be our Pediatric Regional Medical Director of Primary Care. This is a hybrid role with a mix of both Administrative (40%) and Clinical (60%). The role will be responsible for providing professional guidance and oversight to pediatric primary care physicians and advanced practice providers while focusing on excellence in care delivery, performance on value-based contracts, delivering an exceptional patient experience, implementation of best practices and monitoring quality metrics performance and HCC coding for the assigned region.

Requires three (3) years clinical practice experience with a pediatric primary care background

Board-certification in a specialty or subspecialty recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties

Active State Medical License and the ability to obtain a Florida Medical License

EPIC EHR and Dragon Dictation
