Aircraft Analyst

The Opportunity:
You'll be a part of the dynamic and exceptional team at Booz Allen to support the generation of readiness for Naval Aviation as an Aircraft Analyst. In this role, you will support Transportation Management System (TMS) Team leadership. You'll leverage a working knowledge of Naval Aviation maintenance, supply processes, and data systems. You are capable of statistical analysis and will produce supporting charts in Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI.

You will analyze business and operating procedures to devise the most efficient method to accomplish the work. You will plan the study of work problems and procedures, gather and analyze data, organize and document the findings of studies, and prepare recommendations for implementing new systems, procedures, or organizational changes. You'll collate information into meaningful reports and presentation material, and perform management of database tables, data elements, reports, and other entities contained in reporting systems. You'll review project requirements, including program scheduling, critical path analysis, project support, and resource requirement determination, fully participate in impact studies, cost and benefit analyses, and dependency models, and employ appropriate project tracking methodologies. You'll conduct root-cause and corrective action analysis, produce visualizations, and communicate findings using tables and charts.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with aircraft maintenance or aviation database administration

  • Experience with aircraft maintenance and administration

  • Experience with Naval Aviation Enterprise operations

  • Experience with database queries

  • Experience with visualization tools

  • Knowledge of in-depth analytics

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with Continuous Process Improvement

  • Knowledge of statistics

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
