SUMMARY: The Human Resources Coordinator supports the Human Resources department by functioning as the first point of contact for HR-related queries at our Miramar, FL location and other sites in Kansas and Kentucky. The Human Resources Coordinator will perform administrative duties such as general HR support, Onboarding, Offboarding, conducting new hire orientation, Talent Acquisition support, and support with special projects.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the administrative part of the new hire process (screening, contracts, updating of HR systems)
  • Maintains human resources records by tracking new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, merit increases, and time-off.
  • Orients new employees by providing new-hire packets, company policies, payroll and benefits information.
  • Answers employee queries about HR-related issues.
  • Assist with performance management procedures.
  • Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
  • Generating reports on general HR activity
  • Conduct investigative interviews when employee relations concerns are brought forward
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations.
  • Communicates with employees about their documentation and answers specific personnel questions.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Participates and collaborates with team to assist in external and internal audits, providing support and documentation.
    Other job duties as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements:
  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highschool Degree or Equivalent
  • 1 Year of HR Administrative experience
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding payroll, benefits, and employee issues

  • Preferred Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in Human Resources or related field and/or a Human Resources certification
  • 2+ years' experience in Human Resources
  • Proven work experience as an HR Coordinator, HR Assistant, TA Coordinator, Onboarding Coordinator or any related Human Resources capacity.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
  • Experience with HR software such as MyHR / Dayforce
