Position Summary:

The AI Innovation Manager leads the firm's efforts in exploring, adopting, and implementing cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) solutions. This role serves as a champion for AI technologies, educating and inspiring others about the potential benefits while also critically evaluating new AI solutions for their suitability within the firm's legal practice, and driving successful delivery of custom and 3rd party solutions. The AI Innovation Manager works under minimal supervision and relies on extensive knowledge and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

As AI Innovation Manager, you will:

- Advocate for AI within the firm highlighting success stories, potential use cases, and the strategic advantages of AI adoption
- Conduct thorough assessments of emerging AI technologies and platforms, determining their viability and potential impact on the firm's operations
- Plan and execute custom AI solution deployments, ensuring alignment with the firm's strategic objectives and technical infrastructure
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to create a comprehensive AI roadmap, outlining the firm's vision and plan for AI integration over the short and long term
- Work closely with attorneys, IT staff, and management to identify opportunities for AI to enhance legal services and operational efficiency
- Instruct users in the best practices for leveraging AI technologies effectively, including the art of prompt engineering, strategies to minimize erroneous AI-generated content, and enhancing user interaction with AI to ensure accurate and reliable outputs
- Lead organizational change by educating and securing buy-in from stakeholders with varying levels of AI familiarity, ensuring a smooth transition and widespread adoption of new technologies
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the AI landscape, including legal and ethical considerations, to inform decision-making and strategy development


Job Specifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
- At least five (5) years of related experience
- Advanced knowledge of AI applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders
- Strong motivational and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently, under own initiative and in a fast-paced environment
