Interns will have the opportunity for a broad exposure to various related roles (e.g., Commercial, Regulatory, Safety/Pharmacovigilance). The program accentuates the growth and development of its participant by providing networking opportunities, career development and involvement in projects that make a significant contribution to the Medical Affairs organization. **Responsibilities:** + Developing knowledge of AbbVie's Immunology products, clinical trials, and associated disease states + Contributing to the launch preparation of new indications + Conducting literature evaluations and critically analyzing clinical data + Partnering with cross-functional teams on pipeline and on-market assets to gain understanding of product life-cycle management + Evaluating the competitive landscape and preparing gap analyses + Developing materials for and training the Field Medical Team (MSLs-Medical Science Liaisons) **Qualifications** **Minimum Qualifications:** + Minimum GPA 3.0 + Completed 2 years of PharmD curriculum at an 4-year accredited university or equivalent if not a 4 year program + Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a PharmD degree + Demonstrated leadership skills (i.e. extracurricular activities or projects) + Detail oriented, multi-tasking, strong technology skills, communications, consistency, eager to learn etc. + Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship **Significant Work Activities** Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day) **Travel** No **Job Type** Internship **Schedule** Full-time **Job Level Code** IC **Equal Employment Opportunity** At AbbVie, we value bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds to develop new and innovative solutions for patients.
