Job Description
The HR Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes. Also, provides administrative support, including record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
  • Assists with recruitment and interview process; maintains accurate records of job openings, tracks status of all candidates, schedules interviews, and keeps applicants informed
  • Processes required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters
  • Assists with processing of terminations
  • Assists with the preparation of the performance review process
  • Assists with new employee orientations and ensures completion of all new hire paperwork and requirements
  • Prepares various human resource reports such as demographics, training activity, and turnover reports
  • Assists with planning and coordinating employee events
  • Files documents into appropriate employee files and prepares new employee files
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions

Requirements:
  • Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 2 years related experience 
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures
  • Ability to interface successfully with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints and maintain workplace privacy and confidentiality at all times
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
