Join our team as a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse for our Onsite Occupational Health Center for a large, local employer in Deerfield Beach, Fl.

As a PRN LPN you will provide clinical care on an as needed basis to cover the Associate Health Center. You will administer appropriate treatment to injured and occupational associates of our contracted employer utilizing treatment protocols within the scope of your professional licensure, and under the supervision of the on-site medical provider. You will perform/obtain vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, urine drug screens, audiometric (hearing) tests, vision testing, patient triage, AccuChecks, pregnancy testing, give PO/IM medications, assist with clinical procedures (lacerations/splinting/wound care, etc.), prepare patients for DOT physicals, and document findings/chart the treatment provided in the Cerner EMR. You will report to the medical provider the patient's condition, and any reactions to drugs and/or treatment. You will also need to work in collaboration with the on-site radiology tech and physical therapist. You will assist in maintaining clinical calibration logs/clinical inventory daily. You will follow established policies and procedures to ensure a clean, sanitized work environment as there is possible exposure to potentially hazardous materials and situations that require safety precautions and the use of personnel protective equipment (PPE). Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• At least 4 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
  • At least 2 years direct patient care work experience
  • At least 2 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
• Licensed Practical Nurse - State Board

• Working in a clinic or occupational health setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - Multiple Issuers

• Willing to work on a flexible, as needed, schedule.
• Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned
