KBX Logistics is looking for a Logistics Account Agent to partner with the internal and external business and carrier base to discover capacity opportunities for current and prospective customers of Loadshop.

Skills in communication, emailing, phone calling, and driving internal processes. In this role you are responsible to combine your sales and logistical expertise to sell transportation and shipment solutions. You manage logistics for assigned accounts and liaise between customers and carriers.

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Work with internal and external customers to identify opportunities
  • Develop new and existing customers via relationships and spot/load boards
  • Negotiate price with shippers and carriers for both spot and contract freight
  • Source Carriers
  • Source strategic capacity
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies
  • Manage your customer's shipments with support from operations to ensure pick up and deliveries are on time and resolve any issues that may arise

The Experience You Will BringRequirements:

  • Experience in Supply Chain or Logistics OR a Sales related role
  • Experience in a customer service or customer facing role
  • High School Diploma or GED or professional work experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs such as Word to write business correspondence, Excel for use of spreadsheets, reporting and simple formulas, and Outlook for internal and external correspondence

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with inside/outside sales
  • Experience with freight sales and/or freight brokering

Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. If you have questions, please speak to your recruiter about the flexibility and detail of our compensation philosophy.

For this role, we anticipate paying $50,000 - $65,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
