Working in a highly structured, deadline-driven, team environment, the marketing intern will have direct involvement in creating content for the bank's social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) and maintaining the accuracy and freshness of information on the bank's website. Other duties may include conducting competitive research, updating campaign creative, and drafting articles for the bank's employee intranet site. There is opportunity to play a supporting role in other projects, such as campaign launches and special events.

Responsibilities

Social Media:

• Draft well-written and engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Post approved content to social media channels and monitor engagement.
• Communicate with bank colleagues to gather photos, information, and ideas for social media content.

Website:

• Make edits and updates to the website using the Kentico CMS. Use available resources and follow procedures.
• Assist in the updating of website to ensure accuracy and freshness; obtain approvals and follow editing procedures as appropriate.
• Assist in the drafting and proofreading of blog content.

General Marketing/Administrative Duties:

• Manage office supplies and orders.
• Assist in the formatting of PowerPoint presentations.
• Take meeting minutes and distribute action items as needed.
• Perform competitive research as required.
• Perform related and unrelated duties as may be requested.

Requirements

Preferably enrolled in an undergraduate program in Marketing or Liberal Arts with course work in Marketing or Communications. Excellent writing skills. Outstanding communication skills. Strong familiarity with social media for business. Prior experience utilizing Kentico CMS for web editing is a plus.
