Associate Professor of Management and Strategy, Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management

Mike Mazzeo is an Associate Professor of Management and Strategy at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Mike’s research focuses on empirical industrial organization, in particular the role of differentiation and endogenous product choice in firm strategy and market competition. He teaches business analytics and business strategy in Kellogg’s MBA program, and is also a regular instructor in Kellogg’s Executive MBA and open enrollment programs. He joined the Kellogg faculty in 1998 after completing his PhD in economics at Stanford University.


Mike is the "Roadside MBA" audio technician and frequently books our lodging. He usually sits in the back seat and offers amusing quips to defuse travel-related tension. A lifelong New York Yankees fan, Mike can tell you with certainty how many career hits Derek Jeter has.
