This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining a configuration baseline and providing the required configuration documentation control and processing changes to authorized configurations while ensuring all internal processes are followed.
Analyze documentation received to assure completeness and accuracy, monitor progress until discrepancies are corrected, and report program progress to management
Input, organize, and maintain customer and internal documentation records to reflect configuration history including drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs), procedures, test specifications, and Configuration Change Order (CCO) logs
Provide periodic status of assigned programs against established due dates including detailed program progress and problems
Perform change control functions in accordance with established configuration procedures
Create and maintain procedures in order to carry out the functions of configuration management
Generate and review Government required configuration data per contractual requirements
Perform as a backup for document control responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum two years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office
Good interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and team building skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Inter, intra-department, and external contact required
Possess or have the ability to obtain a U.S. Government granted security clearance
