Job Description
This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining a configuration baseline and providing the required configuration documentation control and processing changes to authorized configurations while ensuring all internal processes are followed.
  • Analyze documentation received to assure completeness and accuracy, monitor progress until discrepancies are corrected, and report program progress to management
  • Input, organize, and maintain customer and internal documentation records to reflect configuration history including drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs), procedures, test specifications, and Configuration Change Order (CCO) logs
  • Provide periodic status of assigned programs against established due dates including detailed program progress and problems
  • Perform change control functions in accordance with established configuration procedures
  • Create and maintain procedures in order to carry out the functions of configuration management
  • Generate and review Government required configuration data per contractual requirements
  • Perform as a backup for document control responsibilities

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum two years of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 
  • Good interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and team building skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Inter, intra-department, and external contact required
  • Possess or have the ability to obtain a U.S. Government granted security clearance
