The HR Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes. Also, provides administrative support, including record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry.
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
Assists with recruitment and interview process; maintains accurate records of job openings, tracks status of all candidates, schedules interviews, and keeps applicants informed
Processes required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters
Assists with processing of terminations
Assists with the preparation of the performance review process
Assists with new employee orientations and ensures completion of all new hire paperwork and requirements
Prepares various human resource reports such as demographics, training activity, and turnover reports
Assists with planning and coordinating employee events
Files documents into appropriate employee files and prepares new employee files
Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions
Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 2 years related experience
Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures
Ability to interface successfully with all levels of the organization
Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints and maintain workplace privacy and confidentiality at all times
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Excellent oral and written communication skills
