Position Overview:

DentalPlans.com is looking for a Licensed Insurance Agent (LIA) to work in an inside sales role, selling and supporting various insurance plans and programs, along with selling various dental savings plans (DSPs). The LIA will review plan information, answer potential questions regarding options and close the sale by enrolling the consumer in an appropriate insurance plan.  The successful candidate will be highly driven and motivated by sales success and performance.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Identify the best product and enroll consumers in a Savings Plan Product
  • Drive continuous sales goal achievement and results in a high performing sales environment
  • Achieve/Exceed monthly sales and performance goals/KPIs.
  • Develop a strong relationship with consumers, connect meaningfully and communicate professionally
  • Educate consumers on features and benefits of the policies and calculating premiums
  • Enroll consumers through Inbound and Outbound calls driven by company’s marketing efforts
  • Follow a structured call flow process focused on sales and compliance.
  • Demonstrate transitional up-selling skills by offering additional benefit products or services
  • Navigate through multiple system applications to fulfill consumer requests, research inquiries, create leads for follow up and update consumer information.
  • Process orders, forms, and enrollment application
  • Document all call information according to standard operating procedures
  • Actively participates in training and coaching on an ongoing basis to improve performance
  • Adhere to all position and company policies, follow scripts and designated sales processes
  • If Licensed to sell Dental Insurance, agent will ensure that all insurance applications are submitted in accordance with company policies and procedures with efficiency, quality, and accuracy.

Qualifications and Candidate Profile:

  • Required: Presently hold an active Florida 215-license. License must comply with State Continuing Education requirements.
  • Required: 2-3 years of Call Center Sales experience
  • High-energy personality, enthusiastic, ambitious, positive attitude
  • Possess assertive sales orientation with a passion for helping others
  • Organized, detail and process oriented, customer focused, self-motivated, team player
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed key metrics along sales quotas, conversion rates, KPIs, account objectives, etc.
  • Demonstrate aptitude to learn, absorb, and actively use complex information to achieve and surpass performance targets
  • Exhibit a demonstrated track record of quality/compliance adherence.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, analytical, active listening, and organizational skills, and above average math skills.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) or multilingual is a plus.
  • Proficient key-boarding skills and Microsoft Office desired.
  • Dual screen usage abilities a must!
  • Ability to work a regular 40-hour work schedule and willingness to work overtime during high-volume periods

COMPENSATION:
The posted range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. 

This position is eligible for a $10,000-$30,000 commission target annually.
