Job Duties: Provide peer tutoring in an academic subject area; customer service and directional assistance; light technical support (printing, MyCourses, Microsoft Office).
Requirements:
No academic honesty violations and in good academic standing.
A faculty reference check is conducted in the tutoring subject area.
Previous experience in customer service (Publix, fast food, waiting tables) is a plus but not required. Volunteer experience is also welcome.
Ability to break down concepts and verbally explain processes in tutoring subject area.
Patience and ability to work with people of all ages and ability levels with care and sensitivity is required.
