Job Summary:

Responsible for performing a variety of Accounting duties in the Corporate Accounting Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handles month end trial balance reconciliations
  • Handles daily cash for two companies
  • Provides support in preparing material for audits for both DCAA and external auditors.
  • Assists in year-end incurred cost submissions and indirect rate calculators.
  • Performs various financial analysis and reporting activities.
  • Assists with documenting accounting policies and procedures.
  • Supervises Accountant, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable positions.

Educational/Training Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar field.
  • 5 + years' experience in Accounting with an emphasis in government contracting
  • Working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Must possess good analytical skills.
  • Must have at least five year supervisory experience.
  • Good computer skills, i.e., Word, Excel. etc.
  • Good oral and written communication skills required.
  • Data Gathering, Analysis, Corrective Actions, and Reporting.

Work Environment:

  • Office environment
