Overview:

The Behavior Health Technician Manager is responsible for the accountability/implementation of the clinical model in the program. This position will oversee day-to-day operation of a residential program: staffing coverage, active treatment program planning and compliance. Provide direct supervision of staff to ensure the delivery of quality services.

This position is responsible for, but is not limited to:

  • Work closely with clinical and professional healthcare staff to maintain communication and provide feedback, standardizing procedures and implementing any treatment plans.
  • Scheduling staff to work and attend meetings.
  • Supervise the client support staff and complete performance reviews.
  • Maintain appropriate client files, records, and reports, and submit all reports in a timely manner.
  • Investigate and report all unusual incidents.
  • Lead staff meetings to discuss programs, individuals, and related matters.
  • Manage crisis situations and behavioral issues as the needs arise.
  • Provide individual services to assigned clients, which support client recovery and build resilience.
  • Maintain knowledgeable of the population(s) served and awareness of the impact substance abuse and mental illness has on an individual and family.

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, rehabilitation, or a related human services field (a related human services field is one in which major course work includes the study of human behavior and development).
  • At least three (3) years' experience with working directly with seriously emotionally disturbed children and at least two (2) years' supervisory experience.
  • Must be able to provide individualized, integrated mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring services to meet the needs of individuals served and their families, as required.
  • Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license from the state in which you reside, a good driving record and be insurable under the corporate policy.

Compensation:

Base pay ranges from $20.2255 - $21.8558 an hour based on experience.
