Quality Control Foreman

Overview

This position will be responsible for the daily quality control of the project, including review of all work items performed and submitted materials.

Responsibilities
    Collaborate with the management team to develop, implement and continuously improve quality-focused standards, procedures, and processes.
  • Manage team to conduct preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections for all features of work to ensure all project requirements are met.
  • Coordinate testing and supplemental testing services as needed throughout the project.
  • Update the Project Manager regarding all quality issues as well as the progress of problem resolutions.
  • Commission and retro-commission projects for quality and consistency checks.
Qualifications
  • Must have 5+ years of experience / knowledge of electrical construction.
  • Strong knowledge related to NEC code.
  • Experience in Low Voltage systems (Fire Alarm, Tele-Data, Security, Audio/Visual, etc.)
  • Experience with construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience in LEED.
  • Experience in the electrical inspection process.
  • Progressive and not afraid of technology used as a tool to aid in the performance of the job.
  • Great oral/written communication and relationship building skills.

  • There may be a variety of weather conditions while on jobsites such as rain, snow, heat.
  • There may be high noise levels while on jobsites.
