TEST AND EVALUATION SPECIALIST
Location: Onsite in Panama City Beach, Florida

Position Summary: The Test and Evaluation Specialist will play a pivotal role in our team, leading efforts to analyze test requirements, develop comprehensive test plans, and conduct both diagnostic and operational testing on a variety of systems. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of the NSWC PCD-MN-13-001 Test & Evaluation Manual and have hands-on experience with sensitive and calibrated electronic test tools. This position demands a meticulous approach to planning, executing, and documenting all test and evaluation activities to support system validation and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the analysis of test requirements and objectives, ensuring a thorough understanding of system capabilities and performance expectations.
  • Develop detailed test plans that outline methods, timelines, and resources required for successful test execution.
  • Conduct diagnostic and operational tests using sensitive and calibrated electronic tools, adhering to established protocols and standards.
  • Identify, document, and troubleshoot any issues uncovered during testing, providing clear recommendations for system enhancements or repairs.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to align test objectives with system design and performance criteria.
  • Ensure compliance with the NSWC PCD-MN-13-001 Test & Evaluation Manual, applying its guidelines meticulously throughout the testing process.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive test reports that summarize findings, methodologies, and recommendations for stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in leading test and evaluation efforts for complex systems, preferably within a defense or technology development environment.
  • Strong familiarity with the NSWC PCD-MN-13-001 Test & Evaluation Manual and its application in test planning and execution.
  • Hands-on experience with sensitive and calibrated electronic test tools, with the ability to accurately measure and diagnose system performances.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Exceptional communication and documentation skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
