LOGISTICS AND MATERIAL MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Location: Panama City Beach, Florida

About the Role: We are seeking a Logistics and Material Management Specialist to join our dynamic team. This position is integral to our operations, providing logistics support, material management, and inventory control for a variety of projects within the defense sector. The ideal candidate will ensure the readiness and adequacy of systems and equipment for testing events, demonstrations, and deployments, playing a key role in our mission's success.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement logistics plans that optimize the supply chain and ensure the timely delivery of equipment and materials.
Manage inventory control processes to maintain accurate records of materials, parts, and equipment.
Coordinate logistics activities to ensure the adequacy of systems and equipment for test events, demonstrations, and operational deployments.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality and timely procurement of materials.
Conduct regular audits of inventory and equipment to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with project teams to understand equipment and material requirements, providing expert advice on logistics and material management best practices.
Utilize advanced inventory management systems to track materials throughout the supply chain, from procurement to deployment.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to logistics, material management, and inventory control.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics support, material management, and inventory control, preferably within the defense sector.
Proficiency in material, parts, and component management processes.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
