Job Description

The primary focus of the HRIS Analyst is the support and maintenance of the Human Resource Management System (HRMS) in addition to other systems supported by the HRIS Team. This position serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The position designs reports, report templates, and dashboards by leveraging delivered reports, processes, and creating more complex OTBI, OBIEE and BIA Reporting Tools within the Oracle HCM Cloud. This position also provides production support to Oracle Fusion HCM and UKG Dimensions to HR, IT and business users to troubleshoot and identify solutions to issues and support changes to processes and systems. In coordination with IT and HR Partners, the HRIS Analyst will provide support for patches, releases and other enhancements to the Oracle and UKG Platforms upgrades, including configuration, testing and documentation of these changes.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains responsibility for day-to-day tasks of the HRIS systems and works with end users in report writing, system troubleshooting, table maintenance, and high-level data audits. Provides production support to resolve Oracle HCM Cloud system errors by identifying, researching, and logging issues for resolution and partnering closely with internal and/or external technical practitioners to effectuate and document resolution.
  • Facilitates system enhancements by assessing requests, scoping requirements, potential solutions, and effectuating the delivery and documentation of agreed-upon solutions.
  • Provides support for activities relating to testing, training, and support phases of upgrades and new implementations, as well as other HRIS projects. Coordinates user acceptance testing in connection with system configuration adjustments and implementations.
  • Maintains some Oracle HCM Cloud tables foundational tables such as position, job codes, etc.
  • Develops and maintains OTBI, OBIEE, BI Publisher, and HCM Analytics reports, integrating multiple HR systems; SQL queries to connect data from multiple sources.
  • Designs, builds, tests, and deploys business processes and configurations within Oracle HCM Cloud


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Other related field Required or Five years of related experience maybe considered in lieu of degree.
  • 4-6 years HRIS Analyst or HR Applications Development experience Required and 2 years Reporting capabilities (BIP/OTBI/OBIEE), dashboards, analysis, data extracts and loads specific to Oracle HCM and Payroll Cloud (v12.x or higher) Required.
  • 2 years Hands-on configuration working with functional set up across Oracle HCM Cloud modules Required.
  • 2 years Configuration of Pages, Journeys, Workflow and notifications, flex fields in Oracle HCM Cloud Required.
  • Experience working on at least one Oracle HCM Fusion Cloud Implementation Preferred.
  • Experience with UKG Dimensions Preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion HCM Application Modules including Payroll US. (High proficiency)
  • Strong understanding of entire HR Business Life Cycle (including Payroll and Timekeeping). (Medium proficiency)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on multiple assignments while meeting deadlines and adapting to shifting priorities. (High proficiency)
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. (Medium proficiency)
  • Must be flexible in work hours and changing workload. (High proficiency)
  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM configuration, security settings, applications, users, groups, and group memberships. (Medium proficiency)
