Job Summary: The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting for Mainline Information Systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments to provide insights, support decision-making, and drive financial performance. Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
  • Analyze financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Conduct variance analysis and identify trends to drive informed decision-making.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities for proactive management.

Reporting and Presentation

  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results.

Business Partnering

  • Collaborate with business leaders to provide financial guidance and support on strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with operational teams to drive cost efficiencies and optimize financial performance.

Financial Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification preferred.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, preferably within the IT industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and reporting standards.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
