Overview

The HR Operations Specialist provides a quality service (i.e., accurate and timely response and record) to all Lennar Associates who contact the Shared Service Center with Benefits, Payroll, and other HR inquiries. The role serves as an HR advocate, providing Associates with a forum to express concerns, modeling Lennar's service standards for professionalism and empathy in each interaction.



Responsibilities

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to service delivery that fosters a Tickled, Delighted, and Happy (TDH) experience outcome.
  • Manages and processes various HR lifecycle transactions such as pre-boarding, transfers, termination, job, and personal data changes.
  • Enters and maintains data in HR Files or systems to ensure compliance with federal, state, and regulatory standards.
  • Responds to Associate and people manager inquiries via live calls, e-mails, and other communication formats regarding HR questions, issues, problems, and status changes within defined Service-Level Agreements (SLAs) and quality measures.
  • Provides Associates with accurate responses, resource training, and support in problem resolution regarding Lennar policies and procedures, benefits, payroll, and vendor support.
  • Provides sound judgment and/or resolution on Associate issues by utilizing resources i.e. policy, process, and relevant employment law.
  • Consults with functional partners (including Benefits, Payroll, and HRMS).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma. 1-3 years call center or shared services experience preferred.
  • 1-3 years' experience of HR and/or administrative experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with the use of a computer and software application including MS Office. Experience with HRMS applications.
  • 1-2 years' experience with Workday is required.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of Federal, State, and Local legislative employment and health care laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience providing an excellent level of customer service.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and must be comfortable working with all levels in the organization.

  • Ability to utilize existing resources and identify reliable resources to assist in resolving complex situations.

Physical Requirements:

This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
