PURPOSE

According to the prescribed policies and procedures and under the general supervision of the Executive Vice President and CFO, is responsible for of all aspects of the organization's Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Develops, implements, and modifies software and hardware requirements based on changing business requirements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Workday HCM functionalities, system configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Workday HCM, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with best practices and organizational policies.
  • Stay informed about Workday updates and recommend enhancements to optimize system functionality.
  • Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Translate technical information into non-technical terms for diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align HRIS strategies with business requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between HR, FIN, IT, and other relevant departments for seamless integration and communication.
  • Utilize advanced data analysis skills to extract meaningful insights from HRIS data.
  • Generate reports and dashboards for data-driven decision-making.
  • Implement data quality assurance measures for accuracy and integrity.
  • Extract and compile data elements for regulatory compliance reporting (i.e., EEO).
  • Inspire and motivate the HRIS team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Provide strategic direction for HRIS initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Demonstrate effective leadership skills, including decision-making and team management.
  • Facilitate growth and development opportunities for the HRIS team, ensuring the acquisition of technical, project management, and diverse communication skills.
  • Exhibit effective project management skills, planning, and directing/executing HRIS projects, including Workday implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Coordinate project timelines, resources, and deliverables with technical stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve Tier 3 issues within the Workday system proactively.
  • Address user concerns and provide effective solutions.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues for system optimization and efficiency across Workday and other HR/Business platforms.
  • Ensure Workday system compliance with HR laws, processes/policies, regulations, and data security standards.
  • Implement and maintain data privacy and security measures.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training resources for Workday users.
  • Conduct webinars and one-on-one training sessions for effective system utilization.
  • Create user guides and documentation to support self-service learning.

EXPECTATIONS

  • Must adhere to all policies, procedures, terms and conditions set forth in the National Church Residences' Employee Information Guide (EIG), the Code of Conduct, as well as any facility handbook, including but not limited to, corporate compliance, drug free workplace, safe work practices, all federal, state, local regulations and laws.
  • With respect to Resident Rights, ensures all care is provided with respect and dignity for the residents/clients, their families and the staff. Reports all complaints made by residents/clients and/or families to the appropriate supervisors, reports all allegations of abuse, misappropriation of funds/resident property and/or any other corporate compliance, drug free workplace, safe work practices, all federal, state and local regulations and laws.
  • Completes all annual education requirements timely, including but not limited to Compliance, Privacy, Security and HIPAA training and exhibits behavior as set forth by the Code of Conduct in the performance of their duties.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATION SHEET- HRIS MANAGER

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Experience: Proven experience as an HRIS Manager, with a focus on Workday.

Skills: Strong leadership competencies and experience leading teams.

Exceptional data analysis skills with a keen attention to detail.

Demonstrated expertise in developing and delivering training programs.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Must be self-directed with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks and assignments concurrently.

Must be able to successfully lead others in an environment of complexity.

Must have strong motivational skills and a high emotional intelligence quotient (EQ)

Travel: Less than 25%
