Job Description

Responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and managing assigned construction, engineering and procurement projects under supervision of licensed engineer. Review project schedules, budgets, engineering drawings, specifications and procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications; develop purchase strategy and execute procurement of engineered equipment in compliance with design, schedule and budget; dispatch purchase orders to vendors and contractors and facilitate relations among vendors, users, senior leadership and public/private agencies; coordinate and monitor construction management activities and ensure operations are in compliance with specifications and schedule; facilitate pre-construction services to ensure contract compliance; perform design coordination, review and process contract submittals and purchasing contracts, perform cost engineering/estimating services, schedule management and change management (design, equipment and operations); ensure construction operations are completed on schedule in accordance with project budget and quality standards; confer with supervisory project personnel, subcontractors and engineering professionals to review and resolve procedural problems or other issues; report to senior leadership accordingly; perform project closeout activities to ensure payments, change orders and all contractual obligations are met by each party involved in the design, procurement and construction process. Position duties require extensive utilization of Primavera P6, People Soft, AutoCAD, BIM 360 and Bluebeam Revu. Position requires approximately 40% of travel time to client project sites primarily within the Eastern U.S.

Requires bachelor's degree in civil engineering or architectural engineering followed by minimum one year of experience in the position offered. Required work experience may be satisfied by a master's degree in civil engineering with coursework in construction project management and information systems in project management.
