Overview

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for a detail oriented HRIS Analyst with strong data skills to join our team and support our Human Resources. This role reports to the HRIS Manager.

You are excited to do technical tasks, familiar with importing and exporting data, and rapidly learn new data skills.

Location: Flexible and may be remote or hybrid with preference to be on same Eastern Standard Time.

Hiring Salary Range $65K-$110K. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on location, individual education, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

    Communicate regularly and effectively with team members
  • Provide responsive support
  • Manage system configuration, release rollout, and troubleshooting for multiple people-related systems (UKG Pro, Cognos BI, HRSoft, CultureAmp and other tools)
  • Create ad-hoc and scheduled reporting to support HR, compliance, and marketing requests (surveys, annual AAP reporting, metrics such as turnover, headcount, etc.)
  • Audit data and partner with HR for data corrections
  • Build automations to audit employee data and find data quality issues
  • Partner with HR to establish best practices around people processes and data governance
  • Investigate and resolve issues with third-party integrations and vendor files
  • Manage relationships with vendors and collaborate on resolving file transmission and data issues
  • Provide accurate and appropriate interpretation of data and present to others
  • Develop familiarity with issues and events affecting the organization, identify system or process problems, and engage the team in problem solving
  • Use database applications and analytics tools such as SQL, Power BI, Azure Synapse, Excel, and Python
  • Assist in selecting new HR Systems

Skills and Attributes

  • Familiarity with HR process and best practices
  • A service orientation and an ability to partner with HR and cross functional teams
  • Excellent detail orientation and organization skills
  • Able to independently plan and run projects to meet the needs of HR processes
  • Excellent analytical skills with a demonstrated understanding of the concepts and issues unique to the management of HR data
  • SQL Expertise, or expertise in data manipulation in python and SQL familiarity
  • Experience with files and integrations of HR services and software including benefits providers
  • An ability to identify process inefficiencies and automate where possible

Qualifications

  • 3-5 or more years related experience in HRIS, with significant involvement in direct support of HR-related enterprise applications required
  • 5-7 years experience preferred
  • Reporting experience, specifically dashboard and report development
  • Strong technical understanding of one or more HCM products (UKG Pro) with relational database management experience
  • Experience with data integration between internal systems and key external partners
  • Strong understanding of benefits, compensation, payroll, and performance management and other HR business processes and disciplines
  • Project management skills and experience a plus
  • Professional services industry experience a plus
