Assists the Facilities Supervisor in day-to-day maintenance to include inspection, preventive maintenance and reacting to unplanned maintenance needs of utilities, buildings and grounds

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent and one (1) to three (3) years of related experience. Intermediate to advanced electrical, plumbing, carpentry & facility maintenance skills required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS:
Valid Florida's driver's license and clean driving record required. A/C, electrical, plumbing, and/or building maintenance certification preferred. IFMA Certification, CDL endorsement and/or OSHA/General Industry 30 hour compliance certification preferred.

Functions involve the regular and, at times, sustained performance of moderately physically demanding work and may require occasional lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of heavy objects or materials (up to 50 pounds). Tasks that require moving objects of significant weight require the assistance of another person and/or use of proper techniques and moving equipment. Tasks involve climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
