Overview

Performs a variety of financial activities, including accounting, financial analysis, audit, tax, credit and collections | Develops and evaluates financial plans and policies | Establishes and maintains accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.

Major Position Responsibilities
    Gathers, maintains, and interprets financial data to assist in corporate financial decisions.
  • Maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded.
  • Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger.
  • Compiles financial data to aid management in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports.
  • Assists in analyzing current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
  • Participates in the development and maintenance of financial policies and procedures.
Basic Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree required
  • Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Discipline/Major Finance / Accounting
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Account reconciliation. Balance sheet analysis. Bank reconciliation. Calculate depreciation. Financial accounting. Financial reporting. General ledger accounting. Month-end close. Quarter-end close. Revenue recognition. Spreadsheet intermediate. Year-end close. GAAP standards. Accounting software.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Oral and written communication skills. Detail oriented. Ability to meet deadlines.
