About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity to support our Marketing & Culinary team as a Senior Director of Social Media & Digital Presence based in Miami, FL. The Senior Director of Social Media & Digital Presence is responsible for driving engagement with Subway's core and growth audience by developing the strategy & delivery of creative campaigns across Subway's social channels, Subway.com and App. The Sr. Director will also lead strategy and communication of Subway's "Share of Heart" social good & sustainability efforts.

This role will manage a team of creative professionals, collaborating with various stakeholders, and implementing effective strategies.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee strategy, process and delivery of creative on Subway.com, App and CRM experience for each window.
  • Develop social strategy across various platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Snapchat, X, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Lead Share of Heart marketing efforts, including community giving and active lifestyles, which includes content calendar and support plan to drive engagement with Subway guests, Franchisees and the Field.
  • Have oversight of influencer strategy, Always on Organic social media, as well as of strategy and execution of Tone of Voice.
  • Direct and support team in execution of activations (i.e. Gaming, College Tours, Superbowl, etc.).
  • Responsible for development of progress reporting of social success for Leadership review.

Qualifications (some examples listed below):

  • 8 or more years in Social Media & Leadership
  • 3 to 5 years managing professional, creative team members
  • Bachelors in Business or Marketing
  • Passion for Customers: Understands customers and business stakeholders and has excellent understanding of social media best practices and industry knowledge.
  • Experience in delivering digital O&O strategy & creative.
  • Mastery of business communication tools and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Experience in leading complex strategic projects.
  • Strategic thinking to quickly identify and act on opportunities, combining forethought with action based on an understanding of internal and external environment and its impact.
  • Entrepreneurial: Adaptive and motivated to build and lead while "rolling up their sleeves" to get it done.
  • Develops People and Organization: Demonstrates a genuine commitment to the time and effort needed to develop oneself and others.
