Job Description

Job Title: Logistics Specialist

Primary responsibilities:

  • Receiving, checking, and put away of stock.
  • Procurement activities for supplies, inventory, and service stock as needed.
  • Manage sales order reservations including reserving, un-reserving, returning to stock
  • Diagnosing BOMs via Teamcenter management platform
  • Inventory Control to include regular cycle counts, min/max control, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with customer service on preparation of sales orders before shipment to customer.
  • Work with US vendors on procurement of mechanical assemblies
  • Work with local vendors on repair and service of warehouse equipment (forklift, etc.)
  • Create/Modification of logistics procedures and processes

Backup duties:

  • Create shipping paperwork to include packing list, AWB, commercial invoices.
  • Pulling materials via pick list, packing of orders.
  • Unloading and loading of trucks
  • Facility related activities to include touch up painting, moving furniture, scheduling of vendors for specialty services.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 5-10 years of warehouse experience in fast pace environment
  • Computer experience with MS Windows, Outlook, Teams and MS office applications
  • ERP Experience preferably with Oracle
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of mechanical engineering and BOMs
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to operate a fork lift, pallet jack, and other machinery utilized in the warehouse
  • Excellent Communications and time management skills

Physical requirements:

  • Ability to move, push, carry, and pull at least 50 pounds of weight throughout the day
  • Bend, reach, and climb stairs
