Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an experienced Multi-Media IE Development Graphics Designer (SME) to perform duties in the CCMD Command and Control Center for integration and synchronization of multi-media developed content and information within a Combatant Command (CCMD) staff, subordinate units, and associated joint, interagency, intergovernmental and multi-national (JIIM) partners.

This position is located at MacDill AFB Tampa FL

You will have the opportunity to:

    Provide the Media Development and Graphics Design and production/editing of visual presentations for printed and web-based material, exhibits and briefings will support to inform internal and external audiences.
  • Work independently to gather relevant information by meeting with relevant staff and by performing own research.
  • Prepares sketches or layouts by hand or with the aid of a computer to illustrate vision for the messaging content design.
  • Creates graphic presentations that communicate mood, emphasis, insight, viewpoint, and similar visual impressions that are relevant to the target audience and align to CCMD messaging objectives.
  • Create artwork and other methods of professional presentations and in compliance with Air Force and Department of Defense standards.
  • Apply industry best practices and test graphics across media to ensure visual appeal.
  • All tasks will be accomplished using government furnished equipment.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • 7+ years of multi-media design experience
  • Demonstrated familiarity with translating facts and features of subject material into graphic terms that best convey intended meaning supporting a CCMD Information Environment
  • Documented background and experience for aptitude in coordinating editorial illustrations, creative artwork and videos for publications such as magazines, brochures, handbooks, posters, and web-based platforms.
  • Background that shows strong communication skills - verbal and written - with all levels of stakeholder with an ability to work in a team environment, and experience dealing with complex situations in a fast-paced Combatant Command Level environment.
  • Experience writing requirements and various other documents with a proven record in the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling "stand-alone" graphical products.
  • Demonstrated experience showing the ability to leverage any of the following tools such as:
    • All Microsoft Office Expertise
    • PowerPoint
    • Adobe suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro)
    • Mega Creator
    • 3D Studio Max
  • Experience and background working collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders across organizational boundaries to accomplish mission goals with documentation of accomplishing work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • The work requires a broad knowledge of the principles and techniques of visual design and an understanding of the CCMD mission, priorities, and the CCMD information environment.
  • This position requires an Active DOD Top Secret with SCI eligibility security clearance
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Broad Experience and knowledge of Information Warfare (IW) operations, military deception (MILDEC), operations security (OPSEC), electronic warfare (EW), and cyberspace operations missions, tasks, and overall warfighting functions that support operations, understand how to integrate these capabilities, and be capable of synchronizing activities of mutual concern.
  • Should demonstrate the ability to review, analyze, and operationalize operational-level multi-media content and IO-related directives in support of CCMD mission objectives.

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
