This role is within the CPSG Sales function. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) work with CPSG management team to define sales and business development strategy, and (ii) Execute CPSG's growth strategy by acquiring and retaining new customer accounts in strategic geographies and end markets. Requires 7+ years experience managing a Product category or Sales Territory; Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Sr. Business Development Representative -Overview:

  • Work with CPSG management team to define and develop the Sales and business development strategy
  • Generate and follow-up on leads to fulfill the sales pipeline; determine best approach to close sales and coach others on best practices
  • Execute CPSG's growth strategy by acquiring and retaining new customer accounts in strategic geographies and end markets
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to provide customer training and identify sales opportunities
  • Increase average net selling price and profitability across new and existing managed accounts
  • Provide education on and sell customers products and services of strategic importance for CPSG
  • Work with sales, marketing, and operations team to coach and develop talent within CPSG's organization
  • Sell all CPSG products to installing dealers and distributors at a national level by developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers
  • Work directly with organizational leadership to manage the balance of sales activity for all account classifications
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams
  • Protect CPSG's reputation by keeping information confidential
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed

Sr. Business Development Representative -Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or Engineering; equivalent experience
  • 7+ years experience managing a Product category or Sales Territory In-depth knowledge of the residential and commercial garage door industry
  • Ability to travel up to 35% domestically; valid driver's license
  • Preferred Qualifications Certified Automated Gate Operator Installer; Certified Automated Gate Operator System Designers
