The Product Manager, Clinical Data for our Core Fusion solution (data model and upcycling of clinical data) will operate at the intersection of our current and prospective customers, our Clinical Informatics team, and our software engineers to gather requirements and drive development of new product features related to the Fusion data model and upcycling capabilities such as clinical data normalization, enrichment, reorganization and deduplication. By incorporating client feedback and developing a strategy to continually evolve and extend the existing product functionality you will satisfy new use cases and deliver data-driven requirements for our customers and to drive top-line revenue for the Company.

To be qualified for this position you:

  • Worked in product management in healthcare with demonstrated experience managing competing cross-functional priorities and process development with Clinical Informatics, Engineering, Sales, Clinical/Regulatory, Finance, and Strategy
  • Detail-oriented leader with exceptional problem-solving, written, verbal, and presentation skills, and experience managing teams, individuals, process and middleware applications
  • Deep expertise working with HL7 Clinical Document Architecture Standard (C-CDA) and Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR)
  • Experience with Agile Product Development including the use standard toolsets for product planning and development (e.g. JIRA)
  • Inspire people to take action and accept accountability, create a sense of purpose and enthusiasm, and instill trust and credibility within and across teams

You will set yourself apart with:

  • Working clinical terminology experience
  • Technical acumen working with large data sets and databases
  • College degree in a health care, computer science, or business
  • Experience working with clinical informatics requirements and teams
  • Working knowledge of SQL, No-SQL, and JavaScript

You will be:

  • Gathering and documenting stakeholders' requirements and creating forward-looking roadmaps for the evolution and expansion of the Fusion Data Model to expand functionality into new markets while continuing to support current use cases.
  • Planning and driving all development work related to core Fusion upcycling functionality such as new clinical data normalization/enrichment/reorganization/deduplication rules.
  • Working with engineering, clinical informatics, and product teams to break down requirements into stories that reflect the visions of the Fusion data model and upcycling roadmaps.
  • Understanding product strengths and weaknesses, and balancing feature requests against market opportunities and maintenance requirements.
  • Interacting with customers and business development partners to gain perspective on how product features are used.
  • Developing, socializing, and validating product roadmap with Business Development, Sales, Marketing, and Corporate leadership to ensure alignment with market opportunity, go-to-market strategies, and brand experience.
  • Serving as a market-facing subject matter expert for your product portfolio.
  • Travelling to company on-site and client meetings as needed (estimated 5% per year)
