Inventory Management Associate needed for a contract to hire opportunity with SOC's client to work in Palm Bay, Florida. This is for a second Shift 3:30PM-1:30AM Responsible for performing physical or administrative tasks supporting receiving, as well as responsible for the organization and maintenance of the stockroom inventory. Responsibilities: * Must receive all incoming material. * Count and verify material against the purchase order or invoice. * Maintain clean and safe working environment.
Responsibilities for Stockroom: * Organize and maintain stockroom inventory according to company procedures. * Pick and issue material to internal and external customers. * Assist in counting and verifying material in stockroom to maintain inventory accuracy. * Report any discrepancies or damages to material immediately to management. Requirements * Prior experience in a stockroom or inventory control environment preferred. * Able to work effectively as part of a team or individually. * Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures per company guidelines. * Must be able to stand for 10+ hrs. and can lift up to 40lbs. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. * Must be able to use the applications Outlook and Microsoft Teams * Must be able to work in other areas to help the business needs Employment Pre-requisites The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position: successful completion of a background investigation, and drug urinalysis.
