The successful candidate will develop and analyze credit information and independently prepare complete credit packages for mid-size to large credits in accordance with the Association's underwriting standards, credit philosophies, policies and procedures. Will complete loan analysis documentation, including projections, in an efficient, clear and concise manner, ensuring that the credit risk is properly analyzed and identified, and that adequate controls are established as needed.

Responsibilities:

Possessing thorough working knowledge of the Association's underwriting standards and credit philosophy.
Working independently to complete credit analyses with appropriate documentation and credit risk identification.
Ensuring credit analysis clearly and concisely explain the credit request, analyzes the financial information with strengths and weaknesses, evaluates compliance with underwriting standards and makes recommendations with regard to constructive terms, controls and financial covenants.
Demonstrating skillful use of differential analysis in determining documentation requirements and developing Loan Analyses Summaries.
Presenting loan actions effectively to Loan Committee.
Ensuring timely credit package preparation and completion, considering loan complexity, within a reasonable time frame and according to production goals.
Ensuring Borrower Rights compliance is maintained at all times.
Maintaining a satisfactory Credit Ad ministration rating on loans assigned for underwriting/restructure.
Identifying Probability of Default (PD) and Loss Given Default (LGD) ratings accurately.

To qualify for this position, you must have:

Knowledge of credit underwriting policies, procedures, processes, collateral valuation and documentation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to team and management. Ability to be assertive and decisive in arriving at sound business decisions which serve the best interest of the Association and borrower.
Ability to manage competing demands; excellent organization skills.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience: A minimum of six (6) years of agricultural and/or commercial credit analysis experience. Farm Credit experience, is a plus.
