HDR's Construction Control Corporation (CCC) is hiring experienced a Constructability Plans Reviewer to join our Florida CEI team. These positions will be located at our client site in Pompano Beach, Florida.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform constructability and biddability reviews
  • Perform field reviews for mainline and expansion projects
  • Perform detailed traffic control analyses of each proposed phase
  • Review construction schedules to assist managers with recommendations for resolution of issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or combination of education and relevant experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of construction engineering or contractor experience in major road/bridge construction.
  • Must have a fundamental understanding of contracts and familiarity with codes and laws governing construction
  • Must possess the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies or conflicts within documents
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Must be computer literate, experience with Microsoft Office, Primavera, or related construction packages
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

  • PE License is preferred
  • Previous experience on FDOT or FL Turnpike projects is a strong plus
