Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Transportation Planner, we'll count on you to:

  • Collect, assimilate, and manage project-related data
  • Prepare constraints mapping and required documents
  • Perform tasks related to multimodal site impact, access management, lane repurposing, and other systems management functions
  • Maintain Department's interchange portal
  • Conduct, review and summarize traffic operational analysis
  • Update handbooks, guidebooks, manuals, etc.
  • Assist with training activities
  • Assist with quality control activities
  • Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Planning, or closely related field
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and SharePoint sites
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
  • EIT preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
  • Preference given to local candidates
