Who We Are Looking For

The HR Administrator - Benefits is responsible for the administration of all benefits and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, and 401(k) plans. This position also offers day-to-day support on general HR related inquiries to employees by responding to incoming inquiries received by our HR Service center.

This position is a hybrid role at our Boca Raton, FL office.

What You Will Work On

  • Ensures the accuracy of all benefit enrollments for existing employees and new hires in the HRIS system to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information.
  • Manages benefit vendor relationships and acts as a liaison for employees and vendors.
  • Performs regular quality checks of benefits data.
  • Assists employees with benefits claim issues and plan changes.
  • Distributes all benefits enrollment materials and determines eligibility.
  • Enrolls employees with carriers and processes all status changes.
  • Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries.
  • Processes and administers all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability, and FMLA.
  • Interprets FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities.
  • Responds to 401(k) inquiries from managers and employees relating to enrollments, plan changes and contribution amounts. Manages the annual catch-up contribution enrollment.
  • Assists with open enrollment.
  • Processes and manages COBRA for separated employees.
  • Monitors the HR Inbox and addresses incoming inquiries.
  • Completes verifications of employment.
  • Assists with employee paycheck inquiries.
  • Processes employee status changes in our HRIS System.
  • Ensures policies and procedures are kept up to date.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
  • Assists with employee onboarding requests to ensure we are following all labor laws prior to the start of a new employee

Who You Will Work With

You will collaborate with our HR team members on a day-to-day basis to ensure that our benefits processes & HR related inquiries are consistently responded to. You will also work with external vendors and internal stakeholders and management professionals to respond to incoming inquiries.

What You Will Bring

  • Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Must be able to interact with employees at all levels.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
  • Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a strong proficiency in Excel.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field of study
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in HR or direct benefits administration
  • SHRM Certified Professional, (SHRM-CP), or equivalent certification credential a plus
