About the team:

The Corporate Business Architecture team provides employees with tools to help them develop, sell, and implement FinTech solutions to FIS clients. We digitally transform the efficiency and effectiveness of how FIS employees get their work done through FIS' Future Forward Program.

About the Role:

As the Solution Architect, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the technical vision and roadmap for the corporate applications that support Sales, Pricing, and Customer Service Management (CSM) functions. You will work closely with the Senior Director of Corporate Applications, business stakeholders, and development teams to ensure alignment and quality of the solutions.

What you will be doing:Designing and Developing Solutions
  • Ensuring that the technical solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, and compliant with FIS standards and best practices.
  • Collaborating with other architects and engineers to integrate the corporate applications with other FIS systems and platforms.
  • Creating and maintaining the architecture and design documents for the CRM and how they interact with up and downstream systems.
  • Providing technical guidance and oversight to the development teams and conducting code reviews.
  • Researching and evaluating new technologies and frameworks to enhance the capabilities and performance of corporate applications.

Improving Solutions
  • Providing technical direction for the platform and resolvingissues through collaboration and transparency.
  • Developing strategies to improve the performance and usage of the corporate applications.
  • Implementing and maintaining the testing, deployment, and configuration management processes and tools for the corporate applications.
  • Designing disaster recovery and business continuity strategies to ensure resilience & reliability.
Communicating and Collaborating
  • Consulting with stakeholders to understand the business needs and requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Presenting and explaining the technical solutions and architecture to various audiences, including senior management, business owners, and developers.
  • Working with the product owners and stakeholders to plan and prioritize the technical deliverables and ensure alignment with the product strategy and roadmap.
  • Providing feedback and suggestions to improve the processes and practices of the Corporate Business Architecture team.

What you bring:
  • 5+ Years of experience with the Oracle CPQ Cloud Solution Architect or similar role.
  • Technical knowledge in BML, JavaScript, CSS, XSL, XML, and HTML.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle CPQ processes and workflows
  • Expertise in Oracle CPQ Cloud configuration, customization, and integration
  • Working knowledge of systems up and downstream from Dynamics 365 for Services (CRM) such as Dynamics 365 for Sales, Service Now, email systems, chat systems, social media platforms, survey tools, feedback tools, and client service engagement platforms.
  • Experience architecting interconnected platforms with strong back, middle, and front-end development.
  • Experience designing and implementing SOAP & REST APIs, and orchestration engines.
  • Demonstrated capabilities in improving professional services and software development processes.
  • Extensive experience in SaaS application development, implementation, and administration.
  • Data-driven, algorithmic, and critical thinking.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of fintech software solutions and their development, sale, and implementation.
  • Broad knowledge of basic IT technologies, i.e., operating systems, network devices, software development, and architecture.
  • Experience delivering through scaled agile (SAFe) and traditional project/program management frameworks.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $117,620.00 - $197,580.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
