EnSafe is accepting applications for an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Generalist based out of EnSafe's West Palm Beach client locations.

What You Will Be Doing:

• The person hired for this position will primarily perform health & safety (H&S) consulting services including industrial hygiene (air contaminant, noise, etc.) surveys in various industries (e.g., aerospace, manufacturing, indoor air quality surveys, developing and implementing new or revised health and safety written program or procedure development, safety risk assessments, conducting and/or coordinating safety training, and other similar services
• Additional environmental compliance matters such as data gathering, inspections, site assessments, floor-level assessments of equipment, waste containers, and operations may be directed.
• Travel throughout the continental US may be required to perform project work, depending on client/project needs. Overnight travel is typically on weekdays only.
• Other duties as assigned
• Opportunities may be available for environmental work such as stormwater, groundwater, soil, waste, and other sampling and support services. Related experience is a plus

Qualifications:

• BA or BS Degree in Occupational Health or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related scientific field is required
• 3-5 years of experience working in the environmental, health and safety field. EH&S consulting experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
• Industrial Hygiene experience preferred
• Lock out/Tag out, confined space, job safety analysis, and personal protective equipment is required
• Construction safety experience is a preferred
• Environmental compliance experience is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a strong work ethic
• Strong work ethic, responsible, and dependable
• Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively
• Commitment to quality, accuracy, and attention to detail
• This position requires analytical thinking, initiative, and accountability
• Professional certifications are encouraged to be pursued
