If you answered yes, then bring your passion and expertise to Zscaler as a Marketing Manager for U.S. Federal Government in the Americas.

Responsibilities:

  • Own, develop, and execute a cross-segment marketing plan, execution calendar, and scorecard that delivers scale and growth within the Department of Defense and Federal Systems integrator market.
  • Execute with excellence across core functional areas to deliver results in region including thought leadership and awareness; targeted account marketing; local demand generation programs and campaigns; and amazing customer experiences and events.
    • Apply data driven intelligence, leveraging sales and marketing tools like SFDC, Govwin, intent data, Tableau, and more to effectively target contacts and accounts along the buyer's journey.
    • Develop and execute innovative, targeted campaigns that inform, educate, and engage contacts within accounts to drive demos, meetings, and progression.
    • Strategically plan and execute scalable, value-add customer experiences and events in region that create speaking opportunities; engage customers across multiple personas/roles; and drive action in the journey. The mix can include digital series; Zscaler hosted engagements; third-party events; industry trade shows and conferences; CXO roundtables; partner events, user groups, and more.
    • Help build customer stories, use cases, and champion builder programs within Federal that evangelize our differentiation, value, and relationships.
    • Drive thought-leadership programs that increase awareness with key decision maker audiences across agencies, working collaboratively with the corporate communications team on strategy and placement.
    • Partner and build strong relationships with colleagues to create one Zscaler experience with the customer.
    • Partner with regional sales leaders prioritize target accounts and build marketing plans and execution to increase engagement, new business meetings and pipeline.
    • Build effective stakeholder relationships across corporate communications, global marketing, product marketing, sales, operations, and channel/alliance teams to build an integrated, prioritized GTM plan in region and share insights from the region to inform decisions.
    • Actively build teaming within the AMS marketing team and live our core values
    • Track, measure and refine performance aligned to annual performance targets. Deliver updates and insights monthly. Analyze performance and trends to make recommendations for continuous improvement.Actively participate in performance reviews and QBRs.
    • Deliver a regular communication cadence in segments to inform, educate, and drive actions internally and externally.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in marketing and communications.
  • Experience marketing to public sector organizations, specifically to the U.S. Federal government is required.
  • Drives for results with proven track record driving demand generation and growth with 5+ years of experience
  • Ability to self-start while working remotely yet stay deeply integrated to the core team
  • Proven track record of working cross-functionally across multiple teams and tracking priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Energetic and thrives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
  • Insatiable curiosity and desire to learn and grow
  • Ability to synthesize insights from multiple resources and perspectives to prioritize and put action in motion. The big answers almost never come from one source.

  • Accountable for results and providing data and insights.
  • Demonstrates strengths in strategy + execution. Ability to project and program management with exceptional organizational skills that meets or exceeds goals, timelines, and budget.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills to communicate, influence, and effectively convey information at all levels of the organization
  • Tech savvy and proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office. Knowledge of SFDC, Marketo, Tableau, and other MarTech stack an advantage.
  • Willing to travel within territory approx. 25% of the time

Zscaler's salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range
$122,500$175,000 USD
