Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Program Management Analyst to work in our Business Management department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls EROB facility with every other Friday off.

You will collaborate with program managers, project managers, and other work scope managers to plan, program, monitor, control, and integrate program and portfolio schedules and budgets within a mission or support area and across the enterprise. Also you will analyze program systems, operations, processes, and procedures to identify areas of potential improvement.

You will report to the Manager R&D and Operations Project Management.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborate with program managers, project managers, and other work scope managers to plan, program, monitor, control, and integrate program and portfolio schedules and budgets within a mission or support area and across the enterprise. Analyzes program systems, operations, processes, and procedures to identify areas of potential improvement.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders to determine portfolio, program, and project requirements and objectives.
  • Confer with portfolio, program, and project personnel to identify and resolve problems.
  • Create portfolio, program, and project status presentations for delivery to customers, sponsors, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop or update portfolio, program, and project plans including information such as objectives, technologies, schedules, funding, and staffing.
  • Collaborate with portfolio, program, and project stakeholders to develop, integrate, and optimize planning and programming projections.
  • Collaborate with project managers, project controls analysts, planning and financial controls specialists, and work scope managers to monitor and control programs and portfolios.
  • Plan study of work problems and procedures, such as organizational change, communications, information flow, integrated production methods, or cost analysis.
  • Observe, receive, and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources.
  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time.
  • Analyze information and evaluate results to to provide recommendations on strategies to achieve mission objectives.
  • Provide guidance and expert advice to management or other groups on technical, systems-, or process-related topics.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

PR0300: Bachelors and 5 years experience, Masters Degree and 3 years experience

PR0400: Bachelors and 8 years of experience, Masters Degree and 6 years of experience,

Relevant experience:

  • Experience with financial, scheduling, and work management processes and tools such as P6 and Cobra.
  • Proven track record bringing in project and program data into a usable and manageable format
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.

Job Information:

Salary PR0300-Grade 210 - ($95,928 - $158,232)

Salary PR0400-Grade 220 - ($110,316 - $181,956)
