Activities Coordinator

This position requires an active Secret clearance.

CN3S is seeking an employee capable of providing administrative and coordination support services for the Marine Theater Security Cooperation (TSC) section of Marine Forces North. The contractor shall provide support services to assist security cooperation events with partner nations. The employee will provide coordinating planning support to bilateral and multilateral engagements and conferences.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Activities Coordinator: $64,000-$75,000 per year.

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Activities Coordinator Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide coordination and planning support of Traditional Combatant Commander Activities (TCA) events.
  • Draft budget proposals for TCA related events and prepare budgetary estimates for resource categories as required.
  • Provide planning coordination and technical administrative support to the TCA events.
  • Manage all travel.
  • Generate event reports and brief the status weekly to Marine Operations Officer.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Activities Coordinator Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate and advocate for Marine's equities.
  • In depth knowledge and skills necessary to research, track and closeout fiscal costs of projects and events.
  • Computer skills that include data entry, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a non-standard environment with representatives from other military and law enforcement agencies.
  • Proactive problem solving skills.
  • Self-starter capable of accomplishing objectives with little supervision.
  • Position requires a BA/BS degree from an accredited college.
  • Experience with SIPR and NIPR a plus.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
